I'm a curious, self-motivated student with interests in engineering, entrepreneurship, athletics, and leadership. When something interests me, I want to understand how it works, build on it, and apply it in the real world.
I'm especially drawn to engineering and applied technology. I've explored these interests through hands-on programs in robotics, electrical engineering, and forensic science, as well as business and finance studies at Oxford. I'm interested in how technology, data, and business come together to solve problems and create impact.
Outside of formal programs, I look for learning experiences that challenge me and push me to be more independent, including outdoor and international programs where I've worked closely with students from different backgrounds. These experiences have helped me become more adaptable, confident, and willing to take initiative.
Entrepreneurship has been a meaningful part of my growth. I built and ran a small, data-driven online business focused on virtual goods, managing pricing, inventory, and customer communication over several years. I also helped design and launch a school-wide entrepreneurship program that gave an entire grade the opportunity to develop and pitch original business ideas.
Athletics are also important to me. I've played competitive basketball for four years and recently discovered rowing, where I served as a coxswain and learned how much leadership, focus, and trust matter in a team setting.
I'm motivated by learning deeply, taking on challenges, and doing things that are meaningful, not just impressive.
